I have one of the best jobs in the world. I'm a third grade teacher! I've been teaching to 15 years. My students are my inspiration to write children's books. When I'm trying to get them to understand a concept that is new to them, I try to come up with a fun or silly way to get the point across. That's how I came to write The Shape Family Babies.
I was born and raised in New Jersey, but moved to Manhattan when I was 11. I now live in Upstate New York with my husband. We have 2 grown children who are currently making their way in the world.
My hobbies include photography, making things out of duct tape, and lifting heavy things (although my knees are trying to make me give up that last one.)
